The Thyretain Turbo TSI Stimulating Reporter BioAssay is intended to detect and quantitate TSI in human serum of thyroid stimulating autoantibodies to the thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) receptors (TSHRs) on the thyroid. With a room-temperature incubation period of just one hour, results can be ready for interpretation sooner than other testing methods.
The detection of these stimulating autoantibodies, in conjunction with other clinical and laboratory findings, may be useful as an aid in the differential diagnosis of patients with Graves’ disease.
Thyretain Turbo TSI BioAssay specifically detects TSI in a user-friendly format:
·Specific, sensitive and reproducible test results
·Suitable for moderate or high-volume laboratories with up to 87 patient samples per plate and no cell culture required
·Designed to provide a one-hour room temperature incubation period before reading the plate
